Conflict transformation, Peacebuilding and Nonviolence
The goal is to build constructive change out of the energy created by conflict, by focusing on the underlying causes, analyze and understand the violent conflict, in order to consider what may be appropriate interventions. In this way, we contribute to addressing the underlying causes of conflict, helping people to resolve their differences peacefully and lay the foundations to prevent future recurrence of violent responses to conflict.
On the other hand, peace building is about dealing with the reasons why people fight in the first place and supporting societies to manage their differences and conflicts without resorting to violence. It seeks to address the underlying causes of conflict, helping people to resolve their differences peacefully and lay the foundations to prevent future recurrence. Peace building is the development of constructive personal, group, and political relationships across ethnic, religious, class, national, and racial boundaries.
