Women and youth empowerment is about equipping and allowing women and to amok life-determining decisions through the different problems in our communities. Improvement of youth’s women’s socio-economic and political capacities is essentials components of their empowerment. As part of the strategy, we shall advocate and lobby for small business loans, support youth, girl child and women to respond to community challenges and crisis including domestic violence, protection by giving skills in counselling, training, small business loans and helping to end to cycles of gender base violence.
Girls are held in poverty, poor performance in schools, teenage pregnancies, and early marriages. Through mentorship and coaching, CEPAD WN will reach out to communities to influence the life of girls, and advocate to enable girls stay in school and care for girls and women in the communities. Girls have the right same right to education as boys. Educated girls can make informed choices from a far better range of options. Educating girls saves lives and builds stronger families, communities, and economies. An educated female population increases a country’s productivity and fuels economic growth and peace.
